How We Work

Every project follows the same principle
Your footage handled with care, your director kept in the room, your cut delivered clean

01 // Footage Ingestion

Getting your material to us

For UK-based productions with large rushes, physical drive delivery is the simplest and most reliable option. Ship us your drives and we confirm receipt, log and back up all media on arrival, and begin prep immediately.
For international productions or shoots where remote delivery is preferred, we set up a managed file transfer service — a direct, secure link that your DIT or production coordinator can upload to without any technical complexity on your end.
02 // First Cut & Amends

Collaborative notes, without the email chains.

Once assembly is underway, all review and notes are handled through Louper — the industry-standard platform for remote editorial collaboration. Your director and producer receive a private link to view cuts directly in their browser. Notes are left directly on the timeline, time-coded and threaded, so nothing gets lost in translation.
No software to install. No couriered hard drives. No version confusion. Just clean, trackable feedback that goes straight into the edit.
03 // Live Remote Sessions

Your director in the room. Wherever they are.

For supervised edit sessions, we use Louper — a professional-grade remote viewing platform built specifically for post production. Your director sees the timeline in real time, hears the mix perfectly synced, and can communicate with us as if they're sitting across the desk.
This is not a video call with a screenshare. It is a proper edit suite experience, delivered remotely.
04 // Final Delivery

Picture lock, packaged and ready for post.

At picture lock we prepare a full post-turnover package — AAF or XML timeline export, organised and clearly labelled media, and a comprehensive turnover report detailing VFX shots, temp music references, and any production notes relevant to your sound and grade teams.
Your colourist and sound designer receive everything they need to pick up the project cleanly, and we will be on hand to help them with anything they need.
Add-On — The Soho Option

For the moments that call for a room.

For productions that prefer or require in-person sessions at any stage of the edit, we can arrange access to a premium Soho dry-hire suite. Fully equipped, centrally located, available on request.
This is not our default — our remote infrastructure handles everything a traditional edit suite does, without the overhead. But when the room matters, we can provide it.
Booked in advance. Billed as supplemental studio time. Speak to us about availability when you enquire.
